The UltRank 2025, titled LumiRank 2025 prior to November 2025, is a power ranking that lists the world's best Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players in 2025. The rankings reverted to a full-year ranking following the LumiRank 2024.2 season. A mid-year ranking was also released, spanning from December 17th, 2024 to July 7th, 2025.

Methodology

Changes
The regional values were slightly tweaked: instead of points ranging from 50 to 10, all players ranked top 5 on a regional ranking or top 8 on a regional seat's ranking will have a flat value of 30. In addition, the multipliers were changed as well: instead of granting a multiplier to all entrants count, regions with a multiplier will only have a certain number of entrants fall under the multiplier. For regions with a x2 multiplier, the first 256 entrants will receive the multiplier, and any entrants beyond that will not be multiplied. For regions with a x3 multiplier, the first 128 entrants will receive the multiplier, the next 128 entrants will receive a x2 multiplier, and any entrants beyond that will not be multiplied. Finally, regions that receive a multiplier are dependent on the number of A-, B-, and C-tier events they receive instead of just the highest-tiered event. Mid-season, in response to Kagaribi 13's large size, two new tournament tiers were added on March 12th, 2025: the Premier+ tier and the Superpremier tier.

In addition, the change to special edition weeklies made for the LumiRank 2024.1 season was partially reverted: organizers can now contact the ranking team to have their special edition weekly opt into the rankings if they want to.

Starting with the second half of the season, many European countries, such as France, the UK, Germany, and Spain, were further split up into different regions on the TTS, though the overall point values remain unchanged. These changes were also applied to events in the first half of the year. In addition, due to the several issues created from using regional PRs (such as outdated rankings, some rankings only being posted in private groups, and some rankings changing their structure due to the rankings), regional point values were overhauled once again during this half of the year. Instead of relying on a region's PR, a script initially determines which players in a region should receive points. The script factors in every non-weekly event in a region, including events not tiered on the rankings, and gives each tournament a value. Players are then given points based on their performances at a scored tournament, and the points at their best eight tournaments are added together. This method is meant to reward players who are active in their scene, while also making sure strong players with exceptional results but who do not attend as much also receive recognition. Finally, depending on the size of the region, the top 5-8 players receive 30 points on the TTS; this ranking is vetted with their respective regions to make sure both are in agreement.
