The 2025 Smash 64 Power Rankings is a rankings list compiled by Andykins, Big Red, Dr. Sauce, Darkhorse, Fray, Dogs_Johnson, Josh Brody, KrisKringle, ReefyBeefy, and Pokehero.

Methodology

Qualifying players must have attended at least two of the qualified tournaments listed, including a majors (or similarly notable regionals) that was played on the NTSC-U version of the game. The exception to this rule was if a player only attended Supernova 2025, given they had played in at least 10+ sets during the event. For players who only attended one non-Supernova event (or did not meet the Supernova qualification), they were excluded from the rankings. To remedy this, a "Hidden Bosses" section was created, listing 11 players who likely would have qualified had they attended an additional event. The panelists then ranked qualifying players from #1 to #64, including a few additional players who just missed the cut into the "Expansion Pak".

Trivia

• Just like previous iterations of the ranking, Shears's place of residence was his car "(2012 Chevy Cruze, USA)", due to him traveling around the United States.
