soudsamus, formerly known as soudsonic, is a Smasher from Kuwait City, Kuwait. He began competing in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U as a Rosalina & Luma player, achieving several notable performances and wins and eventually ranking on the Kuwaiti Power Rankings in 2017. However, he became better known in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, where he plays Palutena. He is especially known in the post-pandemic metagame, where he is considered one of the best Ultimate players from Kuwait, with many successful performances throughout the Middle East, including winning the Qatari event Geekdom 3000, defeating players such as Seco and $BK. Aside from these wins, he also has defeated Yetey at Smash @ Respawn #154. In addition to his competitive career, soudsamus was also the head tournament organizer for the online tournament series Deserted Chronicles.
