From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
- Not to be confused with Smasher:Kone.
Kome (コメ) is an Ultimate Shulk main from Japan who is considered the greatest Shulk player of all time. He remains the closest Shulk player to winning a major, being the runner-up at EVO Japan 2020. He is also the only Shulk player ever ranked in the top 20, ranking 19th on the OrionRank Ultimate: Eclipse for his performances during the pandemic period and in 2021.
In Super Smash Bros. 4, Kome was also a Shulk player, and was considered the best Shulk player in the world. He was ranked 14th on the JAPAN Power Rankings and 84th on the Panda Global Rankings 100. He has taken sets off of players such as Tweek, komorikiri, Shuton, Nietono, HIKARU, Ron, RAIN, and Ryo.
On February 21st, 2020, both Kome and Tea were signed by SUSANOO GAMING8.[1] On July 1st, 2021, SUSANOO GAMING8 and KURENAI GAMING were merged to form the gaming team GUREN (now known as Revo). [2]
Playstyle[edit]
In both Smash 4 and Ultimate, Kome uses Shulk as a Data Collector in the first round of each game. He then plays more adaptively to his opponents.
