2GG: Kongo Saga was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate supermajor tournament held in La Mirada, California, from December 7th-8th, 2019. The tournament celebrated the four year anniversary of 2GG Sagas and the event revolved around the Donkey Kong and the Banjo-Kazooie series. It was the last Saga event ran by 2GGaming before they disbanded.

Trivia

• The 2GG Curse of highlighted players and/or characters not being able to win their own Saga continues, with Twinkle being the highest placing player who solo mained a Donkey Kong or Banjo-Kazooie character at 33rd.
• This is the only major tournament of the Fall 2019 PGRU season where MkLeo won without being sent to Losers.
• This marks the first time Link and Greninja have gotten top 8 at an S tier tournament with T placing 5th while defeating top players Zackray, Gackt, and Dabuz, and Lea placing 7th while defeating top players such as Shuton, Goblin, and Dabuz.
• None of the players from SoCal were able to place Top 32.
• This marks Abadango's lowest placement at an Ultimate tournament, as he placed 65th.
  • Also, KEN equals his worst placement in Ultimate as he placed 65th, the same placement he got at Umebura Japan Major 2019.
