Revo, formerly known as GUREN (GRN) is a Japanese esports team founded in 2021 based in the Kansai region. GUREN is the result of the merge between SUSANOO GAMING 8 (SG8) and KURENAI GAMING (TKG), making it one of the largest gaming teams in Japan.
SUSANOO GAMING 8 signed Tea and Kome as their pro players for Super Smash. Bros Ultimate as well as Kei as their manager on February 21st, 2020. KURENAI GAMING signed Yoshidora and saL on February 18th, 2021 and March 3rd, 2021 respectively. On July 1st, 2021, both teams announced their merge, which includes the merge of their current Smash rosters. On February 1st, 2022, they announced their rebranding from GUREN to Revo.
