PMRank 2025 is an upcoming list that ranks the top 50 North American Project+ players of the 2025 season.

Methodology

In order for an event to qualify as a PMRank event, it must follow these criteria:

- Must have 2+ current and or former (2020-2024) PMRank OR potential PMRank players in attendance. (Note: A PMRank potential player is a player that has won 2 notable sets, and those 2 notable sets have to be won against 2 different players on the PMRank 2024 list at other 2025 PMRank events.)

- Must have 20 or more entrants and an entry fee. (Note: Locals are not counted unless they are advertised as a bigger event such as Tripoint Smash 200. Pre- and post-major locals are excluded from the rankings altogether.)

- Must have 3 or more US regions/Canadian provinces in attendance of the event. (Note: For events in Texas to meet the region representation requirement for a PMRank event, they will just need to have people from 2 major cities in Texas represented and 1 other state represented.) (Note: For tournaments in California, Northern California and Southern California are treated as separate regions.)

Trivia

• SipMastah's #1 ranking makes him the second player to be ranked as the best player in the world in back to back years, a feat only previously accomplished by fellow Northern California player, ThundeRzReiGN, in 2016-2017.
  • SipMastah also won every qualifying tournament that he attended, a feat that no other #1 player in the history of PMRank has achieved.
• Ryzuul's #2 ranking marks the highest national ranking of a player from outside the United States, as well as the highest national debut of a player on PMRank.
• Jagz$ became the first solo Marth player ranked in the top 10.
• PMRank 2025 has the most represented players of a single region, with Illinois having 15 players ranked in the Top 50.
