PMRank 2025 is an upcoming list that ranks the top 50 North American Project+ players of the 2025 season.
Methodology[edit]
In order for an event to qualify as a PMRank event, it must follow these criteria:
- Must have 2+ former (2020-2024) PMRank OR potential PMRank players in attendance. (Note: A PMRank potential player is a player that has won 2 notable sets, and those 2 notable sets have to be won against 2 different players on the PMRank 2024 list at other 2025 PMRank events.)
- Must have 20 or more entrants and an entry fee. (Note: Locals are not counted unless they are advertised as a bigger event such as Tripoint Smash 200. Pre- and post-major locals are excluded from the rankings altogether.)
- Must have 3 or more US regions/Canadian provinces in attendance of the event. (Note: For events in Texas to meet the region representation requirement for a PMRank event, they will just need to have people from 2 major cities in Texas represented and 1 other state represented.) (Note: For tournaments in California, Northern California and Southern California are treated as separate regions.)
