Shiny Zubat is a Project+ player from New Jersey. He was initially a Luigi and Yoshi co-main, and first broke out onto the scene after winning Do or DI over many of the best Project M players in the Tristate area. Alongside other noteworthy performances such as placing 7th at We Tech Those 2, he was eventually ranked 50th on the inaugural PMRank. He remained active in Project M for most of the 2010s, but remained unranked until Project+, where he switched to playing solo-Yoshi. He is considered the greatest Project+ Yoshi player of all time, spearheading the development of Yoshi's metagame and placing top 8 at several majors during this time, including being the runner-up at Undertow 2024. His results with Yoshi contributed to the character's double-digit rise on the tier list in 2024. In addition, he was considered the second-best player in the world in 2024 and was the only player to eliminate SipMastah at a ranked event that year, doing so at Tussleopolis. Due to his long-term success, Shiny Zubat is ranked 27th on the Project M/+ All Time Top 100.
