Motobug is a Project M Sonic player from Massachusetts who is considered to be the best active Sonic player in the world. They are currently ranked 3rd on the Massachusetts Project M Power Rankings and 29th on PMRank 2025, having achieved local wins over players such as Twisty, Yung Quaff, and Kumatora, and wins over players such as Sothe, Phresh, Blank, and Flipp on the national level. Along with being an active player, Motobug is heavily involved in being a community leader, TOing, creating Project M builds for various regions, being a part of the PMRank staff, and being a head developer of Project+. They were also sponsored by Brainless eSports on May 15th, 2019.
