The SSBMRank 2024 lists the world's top 100 Super Smash Bros. Melee players in 2024 as compiled by Melee Stats.

Methodology

Similar to previous lists, the SSBMRank 2024 is a panel-based ranking where panelists were asked to rank each player on the ballot, with the values then being aggregated to a single value based on their distribution. A total of 125 players were placed on the ballot.

For a player to be eligible, they are required to attend a total of 5 events, with 2 of those events being majors.

Trivia

• This ranking featured several new achievements:
  • Junebug became the first Donkey Kong player to be ranked Top 20 on a global Melee ranking.
  • OG Kid became the first player born after Super Smash Bros. Brawl's release to be ranked on a global Melee ranking.
  • Nicki became the first European player besides Armada and Leffen to rank in the top 10 on an SSBMRank ranking, and also became the highest-ranking German player in any Smash game.
  • SDJ became the first solo-Jigglypuff player besides Hungrybox to enter the top 20.
• This is the first full-year ranking since its inception in 2013 in which:
  • both Colbol and Plup were unranked, as neither player met the attendance requirement.
  • a player regained their number one title after losing it in the previous ranking.
