Saya (さや) is an Ice Climbers main from Kyoto, Japan, considered one of the best Ice Climbers players in Japan since 2025. Saya broke out onto the scene during Japan's Golden Week that year, finishing 49th at Kagaribi 13 after defeating Shirayuki and WaKa at Kagaribi 13. Alongside other notable performances and wins that year, including Raki at Koryu Festival 1 and Rarikkusu at Sumabato SP 60, Saya was ranked in the top 150 on the UltRank 2025 and in the top 100 in the second half of that year. The following season, Saya defeated Raru at OH-BAI-TOH-RI 3 and Asimo at AnoAno Brothers 5, in addition to finishing top 8 at Ikesuma 4, defeating Shuton, Tarik, and Shirayuki along the way. Saya has achieved a Smashmate rating over 2200.
