North Central Mexico is a Smash region that consists of the Mexican states Zacatecas, San Luis Potosí, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato and Querétaro. The region borders the Northwest Mexico state Durango and the Northeast Mexico states Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas to the North; the West Mexico states Nayarit and Jalisco to the west, the East Mexico states Veracruz and Hidalgo to the east, and the Central Mexico state Edomex to the south.

The region historically featured some few but notable players in Melee, including Smash Papi, a Fox player who lived in Florida, California and Illinois, and Lengüitas, one of the most active Fox players in the country. However, the region has seen more representation during Smash 4 and Ultimate's lifespan with players such as Grim, a strong Diddy Kong player in both Smash 4 and Ultimate, Pineda, one of the best Cloud in Smash 4 and Palutena in Ultimate, and most notably, Leaf, considered one of, if not the best Peach player in Mexico.

Also, North Central Mexico is home of the LCA and Smash Fest tournament series, the most largests in the region, and is the home of the Los Finos series, one of the most active monthly tournament series in Mexico.
