Peru is a Smash region that encompasses the country of the same name. It borders Ecuador and Colombia to the north, Brazil and Bolivia to the east, and Chile to the south.
Peru is considered one of the strongest regions in South America, especially on the Smash 64 competitive scene, as Peruvian players having success at international events. One of the earliest being Alvin, considered as the greatest South American player and one of the best in the world. Alongside Alvin, Joshi has found success as well. In tournament activity, Peru is home of Inkafest and Tacna, the most prestigious series in the region in Smash 64, as well as ITD in Ultimate.
