The Middle East, also known as the Gulf Cooperation Council (acronymized as GCC), is a region of the world located in the intersection between Europe, Asia, and Africa, though the vast majority of landmass is considered a part of Asia. In addition, though not considered part of the Middle East from a geographical perspective, Egypt is often grouped as part of the region due to its frequent crossovers with the Middle Eastern scene.
