Barbados

Barbados is a Caribbean Smash region that encompasses the country of the same name. The country is the easternmost island in the Caribbean. The majority of significant tournaments are held in the capital, Bridgetown, as well as Warrens. The scene also sees fairly regular crossover with St. Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago.

The scene began as early as 2007, with activity taking place at the venue Anime-Spot in Bridgetown. The scene gradually developed in the following few years, and became regarded as one of the stronger Caribbean scenes in the late 2000s. Their size culminated in their largest event, the Brawl event AnimeKon 2013, which was held in 2013. While Barbados' scene has remained small since, especially compared to the Caribbean's premier scenes Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, which grew significantly in the 2010s, the region continues to feature some notable events, such as those held in the Caribbean Gaming Circuit, a circuit held between 2014 and 2017 by local organization CariGames Pro to promote the growing esports scene in the Caribbean, and events held at large conferences and conventions.

Anansi		Previously known under the tag, SAM. He was the highest ranked player on the region's 2019 power rankings. Anansi began competing in Trinidad and Tobago in mid-2010's, while attending school, but moved back to Barbados prior to the release of Ultimate.
Fabian		A tournament organizer and one of the region's stronger players during the mid 2010's.
KingArc		Player from New York City, who lived in Barbados from the early to mid 2010's and was arguably the region's strongest player winning events like AnimeKon 2014 and the St. Lucian event Saucekon 2015. He was a tournament organizer during this timeframe. While he has since moved back to the United States, he competes fairly frequently at events in the region.
MouseRat		First competed offline in Barbados in 2015. While he currently lives in New Jersey he still frequently competes in Barbados.
Narco		Also known by the tag RiickyBoii, and his previous tag Bajknight.Narco, is the principal tournament organizer on the island and one of the country's strongest players, having been ranked 3rd on the Barbados Power Rankings in 2019, was regarded as one of the regions best Melee, and Brawl players and was labeled as one of the "Five Gods of Trinidad and Barbados in 2016.
Sagetech		Sagetech has gone by a number of variations of the tag. He has been one of the regions best players across Smash 4 and Ultimate
Shablivion		Founder of the crew Natural Born Killers
