Dream Playthroughs

This is what I'd like to expect in a playthrough; though the chances of it exactly happen is extremely low.

Note:This assumes I'm playing as Kirby on Very Hard Difficulty. You'll have a better chance of winning the Powerball if allies and stages are incorporated.

Event Recreations

I have been using Brawl to recreate some events in Melee, Brawl and SSB4.

Considerations when recreating stages:

  • Melee events can be done with any game, Brawl events can be done with Brawl or SSB4, and SSB4 events can only be done with SSB4
  • Currently, no DLC characters or stages are being considered.
  • When recreating Co-op events, the second character is a CPU ally.
  • Smash 64 or the 3DS version of SSB4 are not used for recreating events.

Common differences include:

  • Music is not always the same
  • Characters are forced a palette swap in team battles except SSB4.
  • Items are turned off unless if the event focuses on them.

Melee Events

Different character OTPs have different sets of Melee events.

Link & Fox's Events

Event Instructions Differences
Event 9: Hide 'n' Sheik Choose a character, fight in a 1 stock team against two Zeldas on Great Bay in Melee, Pirate Ship in Brawl or Skyloft in SSB4. The Zeldas don't have to be KO'd as Sheik. They cannot transform in SSB4. Pirate Ship and Skyloft represent Great Bay as bright Legend of Zelda stages.
Event 18: Link's Adventure Select Link with a red alternate costume and fight another Link with a dark alternate costume on Temple. Dark Link does not have a fully black shading.
Event 23: Slippy's Invention Choose a character and fight a team of Fox and Falco on Venom in Melee or Lylat Cruise in Brawl and SSB4. Neither Fox nor Falco are invisible. Lylat Cruise represents Venom as a port to starboard stage.

Zelda & Falco's Events

Event Instructions Differences
Event 15: Girl Power Choose a character, fight in a 2 stock free-for-all against Samus, Peach, and Zelda on Fountain of Dreams in Melee or Halberd in Brawl and SSB4. The stage is fought on Halberd to represent a non Green Greens Kirby stage. No one is tiny.
Event 29: Triforce Gathering Select Link and team up with Zelda. Fight Ganondorf in a 1 stock match on Temple. Ganondorf only has one stock. The fight can still continue if Zelda dies.
Event 32: Target Acquired Select Falco and fight Jigglypuff in a 1 minute battle with 300% damage on Corneria in Melee and Brawl or Orbital Gate Assault in SSB4. Arwings will not K.O. anyone. K.Os will still be credited to Falco even if it's damaged by an Arwing on its way through a blast line. There are fewer Arwings and they're less aggressive. The character is lightweight as well. Jigglypuff starts at 300% damage instead of 70%. Orbital Gate Assault represents Corneria as a side-facing Great Fox stage.
Event 36: Space Travelers Select Ness and fight a series of 1v1s in order of Samus, Kirby, Fox, Captain, and Falco. On Fourside in Melee, New Pork City in Brawl, or Onett in SSB4, Samus takes the player 2 slot, Kirby on player 3, and Fox on player 4. On Battlefield, Captain Falcon takes the player 2 slot and Falco on player 3. New Pork City takes place of Fourside as an Urban EarthBound stage. Onett is the only EarthBound stage in SSB4. Fights are done separately. Battlefield does not have a rainbow background.
Event 43: Birds of Prey Select Fox and fight a team of Captain Falcon and Falco in a 2 stock battle on Big Blue in Melee and Brawl or Port Town Aero Dive in SSB4. Port Town Aero Dive is the only F-Zero stage in SSB4.
Event 44: Mewtwo Strikes! Choose a character and fight a team of Zelda and Mewtwo (Lucario in Brawl and SSB4) in a 1 stock battle on Battlefield. Zelda must be KOed. Lucario takes Mewtwo's place as an anthropomorphic Pokémon. Battlefield does not have a rainbow background.

Peach & Yoshi's Events

Event Instructions Differences
Event 4: Dino-wrangling Choose a character and fight Yoshi in a 1 stock giant battle on Yoshi's Story in Melee, Yoshi's Island (SSBB) in Brawl, or Woolly World in SSB4. The player only has 1 stock. Brawl's Yoshi's Island and Woolly World represent Yoshi's Story as more greenish' or pinkish stage.
Event 13: Yoshi's Egg Select Yoshi fight a team of Pikachu, Fox, and Donkey Kong in a 1 minute battle on Rainbow Cruise in Melee and Brawl or Delfino Plaza in SSB4. The yoshi egg item does not appear. The match take 1 minute as opposed to 55 seconds. Delfino Plaza represents a colorful Mario stage.
Event 19: Peach's Peril Select Mario and team up with Peach. Fight Bowser in a 1 minute battle on Final Destination. Peach actually helps Mario into fighting Bowser.
Event 24: The Yoshi Herd Choose a character and a team of 3 Yoshis (free-for-all in Melee) in a 10 stock battle at 300% damage on Yoshi's Island (SSBM). The last Yoshi isn't giant. The damage meter shows all characters at 300% damage. The player has 10 stocks.
Event 35: Time for a Checkup Select Luigi and fight a team (free-for-all in Melee) of Dr. Mario (Wario in Brawl) and Peach in a white alternate costume (except Brawl) in a 1 stock battle on Yoshi's Story in Melee, Yoshi's Island (SSBB) in Brawl, or Woolly World in SSB4. Wario can be used as a Dr. Mario replacement in Brawl. Brawl's Yoshi's Island and Woolly World represent Yoshi's Story as more greenish' or pinkish stage.
Event 38: Super Mario Bros. 2 Choose a character and fight a team of Mario, Luigi, and Peach in a 2 stock battle on Mushroom Kingdom II in Melee or Luigi's Mansion in Brawl and SSB4. Luigi's Mansion represent Mushroom Kingdom II as Luigi's home stage in Brawl and SSB4

Brawl Events

Solo events

Event Instructions Differences
Event 2: Landmaster Ignition Select Fox and fight a team of Sheik and Meta Knight in a 1 minute battle on Corneria. Fox does not start with a final smash and must acquire a smash ball. Smash balls are turned on. Sheik and Meta Knight can use final smashes as well.
Event 17: Super Waterfall Climb Select Zelda and fight a team of 2 Ice Climbers in a 1 minute battle on Rumble Falls at 300% damage. The stage does not always scroll fast. Zelda is allowed to die. All characters are lightweight. Ice Climbers are shown with 300% damage.
Event 18: Dark Link Duel Select Link and fight another Link who's wearing a dark alternate costume in a 200HP battle on Bridge of Eldin. King Bulblin can interrupt the battle. Dark Link doesn't have a black shading.
Event 32: Bird in Darkest Night Select Falco with a dark alternate costume and fight Mr. Game & Watch in a 2 stock battle on Brinstar. The stage never blacks out.
Event 33: Advent of the Evil King Select Ganondorf and fight a team of Link, Zelda, and Pit in a 1 stock battle on Temple. Ganondorf only has one stock. Opponents have normal amount of knockback.
Event 38: The Wolf Hunts the Fox Select Wolf and fight a team of Fox and Falco in a 1 stock battle on Lylat Cruise. Wolf only has one stock.

Co-op Events

Event Instructions Differences
Co-Op Event 6: Unwanted Suitors Select Zelda and Zero Suit Samus and fight a team of Luigi and Captain Falcon in a 2 stock battle on Port Town Aero Dive. No one is invisible and Luigi and Captain Falcon are recognized as Mario and F-Zero characters respectively.
Co-Op Event 7: Battle of the Dark Sides Select Link and Samus and fight a team of another Link and Samus in a 200HP battle on Bridge of Eldin. King Bulblin can interrupt the battle. The opposing Link and Samus are not in their dark costumes.
Co-Op Event 14: The Dark Guardians Select Ganondorf and Wolf and fight a team of Charizard and Donkey Kong in a 1 stock battle on New Pork City. All characters are normal sized, the Pokémon Trainer accompanies Charizard and under rare circumstances, he'll change Pokémon.
Co-Op Event 19: Shadow of Andross Select Fox and Falco and fight Wolf in a 1 stock battle on Lylat Cruise. Andross does not always appear, Assist Trophies are turned on and can be used against Wolf but does not stay on stage permanently.

SSB4 Events

Solo Events

Event Instructions Differences
A Fated Battle Select Link and take on a team of Ganondorf and Link with a dark alt costume in a 2 stock battle on Castle Siege. Dark Link appears at the start and must be defeated.
Behind Enemy Lines Select Fox and fight a team of Bowser Jr. and Mega Man in a 1 minute battle on Orbital Gate Assault at 300% damage. The stage starts on the Great Fox. Fox is allowed to die and the damage starts at 300% instead of 200%.
Duck Hunt! Select Duck Hunt and take on a team of 2 Falcos in a 1 minute battle on the Duck Hunt stage at 300% damage. Make sure Ray Guns, Steel Divers and Super Scopes are on. The goal is not focused on fighting the ducks, but on fighting the Falcos instead. Both Falcos are normal sized, Duck Hunt is allowed to die, all characters have and are shown with 300% damage.
Enough with the Kidnapping Select Peach and take on a team of Bowser and Bowser Jr. in a 1 stock match on Mushroom Kingdom U. Peach only has 1 stock. The Boss Galaga item doesn't remain on stage permanently although they can be used as items against the opponents. Nabbit does not always appear.
Great Fox Defense Select Falco and take on a team of 3 Mr. Game & Watches in a light weight 2 stock battle at 300% damage. All Mr. Game & Watches touch the ground and have 2 stocks each and different colors. Falco has 2 stocks instead of 1.
Identity Crisis Select Sheik and take on Samus in a 1 stock team battle on Bridge of Eldin. Then start another 1 stock team match and select Zelda and take on Zero Suit Samus. Match immediately ends after one character's death. Sheik never takes on Zero Suit Samus and Zelda never takes on Samus.
King of the Yoshis Select Yoshi and take on 3 other Yoshis in a one stock battle on Melee's Yoshi's Island. Select a few of the opposing Yoshis to have custom abilities. Only 4 Yoshis on stage instead of 8. (It's possible with 8-player smash but I'd like to keep everything in Special Smash.)
Princess Punch-Up! Select Zelda and have Link as a CPU ally and fight a team of Peach and Mario in a 1 stock battle on Skyloft. The battle can continue even if Zelda dies.
The Demon King and the Goddess Select Ganondorf and fight a team of Link, Zelda, and Palutena in a 1 stock battle on Skyloft. Ganondorf only has 1 stock. Palutena appears with Link and Zelda at the start. No one is giant. The stage moves to random destinations and no location is permanent.
Unwavering Chivalry Select Meta Knight and take on a team of Marth, Peach, and Zelda in a 1 stock battle on Halberd. Meta Knight only has one stock, He is still required to KO Peach and Zelda.
Up to Speed Select Sonic and fight Fox, Falco and Captain Falcon in a high speed free-for-all 1 stock battle on Windy Hill Zone. Opponents have a normal amount of knockback.

Co-op Events

Event Instructions Differences
Getting Healthy Select Little Mac and Wii Fit Trainer and fight a team of Kirby and Pac-Man in a stamina battle on Boxing Ring. Set the player's team to 100HP and the opponent's team to 150HP. No specific differences. Differences are common with other events.
Keep 'Em off the Ship! Select Fox and Falco and fight a team of 2 Mr. Game & Watches in a lightweight 8 stock battle on Lylat Cruise at 300% damage. The Mr. Game & Watches can touch the ground. Only 2 Mr. Game & Watches featured instead of 4. 8-player smash doesn't have a lightweight or 300% option. All characters are shown at 300% damage and the players are lightweight. All characters have 8 stock.
Peach in Peril Select Bowser and Bowser Jr. and fight in three 1 stock matches on Melee's Yoshi's Island. The first match is against a team of Peach and Zero Suit Samus, the second match is against Rosalina & Luma and Zelda, and the third match is against Wii Fit Trainer and Female Robin. Three separate matches are featured instead of one. (This can be done in 8-player smash but I'd like to keep everything in Special Smash.) Peach must be KOed.
Scheming Sorcerer Select Yoshi and Toon Link and fight a team of Male and Female Robin in a 1 stock battle on Mushroom Kingdom U. Start another match and this time turn on Giant and Metal mode. Two Robins appear at the start instead of one. Defeating a Robin or Kamek's magic does not summon another Robin. Both Yoshi and Toon Link are Giant and Metal during the second part.
Solidarity Select Olimar and Rosalina & Luma and fight a team of Mario and Luigi in a 1 stock battle on Pilotwings. Start another match and fight a team of Bowser and Bowser Jr. Two separate matches are needed.
Viral Visitors Select Dr. Mario and Peach in a white alternate costume and fight a team of 2 Kirbys with one in an "Unmasked Meta Knight" costume and another one in a gray alternate costume in a 2 stock battle on Wuhu Island. Only 2 Kirbys are fought and they each have two stock each instead of one. Only one Kirby can have the "Unmasked Meta Knight" costume and the other must have a different costume. There is no time limit and the Kirbys don't have a dark tint.
Visiting Onett Select Ness and Villager and fight in three 1 stock matches on Onett. The first match is against a team of Kirby and Meta Knight, the second match is against Fox and Falco, and the third match is against Olimar and Rosalina & Luma. Make sure Mr. Saturns, Franklin Badges, and Home-Run Bats are on. Three separate matches are featured instead of one. (This can be done in 8-player smash but I'd like to keep everything in Special Smash.) All items are common.

List of AI flaws regarding two shipped The Legend of Zelda and Star Fox entities

Entity Game Description

Hyrule Castle Sector Z

Super Smash Bros. CPUs have difficulty recognising walls. Also shared with Peach's Castle and Saffron City.

ZeldaHeadSSBM.png FalcoHeadSSBM.png
