This is a list of music tracks pertaining to the Pokémon universe in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. All tracks listed here are available to play on the seven Pokémon stages in the game: Saffron City, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Stadium 2, Spear Pillar, Unova Pokémon League, Prism Tower and Kalos Pokémon League.

Origin

This track is an arrangement of two tracks in Pokémon Red & Blue, the first and main section being an orchestrated remix of the music first heard in Route 1, also heard in Route 2. These two routes both border Viridian City, hence the name of the track. The second part of this arrangement is a serene remix of the music first debuting within Viridian City itself, which also plays in Pewter City.

Origin

This track is a synthesized medley of three popular music pieces from the first generation of Pokémon. The first of these is the standard Trainer Battle Theme, which would play whenever Red fought a regular trainer, that being a trainer who is not the player's rival (when fighting him at the end of the game), a Gym Leader, or a member of the Elite 4. The second music piece within the medley is a remix of the Gym Leader Theme, a music piece that originally played when the player fought a Gym Leader or Elite Four, and the third sub-track is a remix of the standard Wild Pokémon Battle Theme, which would play when a Pokémon Trainer encountered a wild Pokémon in tall grass, within a cave, on the water's surface, by fishing, or by a predetermined encounter. This track was previously titled "Poké Floats" in previous games, as it was originally played on the stage of the same name in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

Origin

This track is a synthesized medley of three music pieces from Pokémon Gold & Silver. The first of these is the standard Wild Pokémon Battle! theme, based upon its Gold & Silver incarnation. the sub-track from which this overall music piece takes its name. In Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions, this would play whenever the Pokémon Trainer encountered a wild Pokémon that is not classed as legendary. The second sub-track is the Gym Leader Theme, a sub-track also heard in Pokémon Red / Pokémon Blue Medley. The final sub-track is a remixed excerpt of the music that would play when the player fought Lance or Red. Prior to Ultimate, this track was titled "Battle Theme" in Melee and Brawl and "Pokémon Stadium 2" in SSB4.

  • The SSB4 remix of Battle! (Wild Pokémon) - Pokémon Diamond / Pokémon Pearl is the only previous Pokémon remix not included in Ultimate.
  • Lucario is the only Pokémon character whose character trailer music does not originate from their debut generation.
