Super Smash Bros. 4 also introduced a feature called the Ω Form that modifies the layout of stages to that of Final Destination.

Ω Forms
In addition to the primary Final Destination stage, all other stages in Smash 4 are available in Ω Forms (Omega Forms) (終点化, lit. Final Destination forms), which modify them to have a Final Destination-like layout, consisting of a single flat platform with all stage hazards removed. Ω Form stages are not all functionally identical, however, as the shape of the platform's underside varies, with some stages having walls all the way down to the lower blast line. This can have a significant impact on characters' recovery; for example, Little Mac gains a tremendous advantage on an Ω Form stage with walls, as despite his normally abysmal recovery, he has a very strong wall jump, aiding his recovery significantly. Other characters, such as Mario and Mii Gunner also gain advantages to varying degrees. This advantage, however, is strangely not applicable to Pac-Land as it is impossible to wall jump despite the presence of walls.
The Ω Forms of Battlefield, Boxing Ring, Castle Siege, Duck Hunt, Gamer, Jungle Hijinxs, Kalos Pokémon League, Luigi's Mansion, Lylat Cruise, Onett, Pokémon Stadium 2, Skyloft, Temple, Town and City, Umbra Clock Tower, and Windy Hill Zone all have marginally shorter top blast lines compared to Final Destination, while Coliseum, Halberd, and Palutena's Temple all have marginally taller top blast lines.
The Ω Forms of Mario Galaxy, Mushroom Kingdom U, The Great Cave Offensive, Windy Hill Zone, and Yoshi's Island have increased traction where there is grass, which can affect several techniques such as sliding up smashes and glide tosses.
Pressing the X button on the stage select screen in the 3DS version will fill the circular cursor with either 終点 (Japanese), Ω (other languages) or DF (PAL French version, 3DS only), allowing Ω Form stages to be selected. There is also an option in the rules to have the game automatically select Ω Form stages at random; this is how stages are selected in For Glory mode. Ω Form stages can also be selected at random by pressing the X button and selecting Random on the stage select screen.
Final Destination itself can be selected as an Ω Form stage, but this doesn't change its layout.

Final Destination (終点, Endpoint) is a stage in both versions of Super Smash Bros. 4. Like in previous games, this is where Master Hand and Crazy Hand are fought, along with the new boss Master Core starting at 5.1 Intensity in Classic Mode.

Super Smash Bros. 4 also introduced a feature called the Ω Form that modifies the layout of stages to that of Final Destination.

Stage layout

Like all versions of Final Destination, the stage consists in a single floating platform with no hazards. The background shows large planets zooming by, followed by a bright white flash which marks the transition to a sky background. The background differs between the Wii U and 3DS versions.

Trivia

 • In the PAL French version of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, DF stands for "Destination Finale".
 • This is the first iteration of Final Destination to use sound effects for the changing background animations.
 • Masahiro Sakurai stated that the first two games in the series had strong fiery imagery to convey a burning, passionate motif. Brawl had sky imagery to convey a more free motif. Since SSB4 was designed to feel right in between Melee and Brawl, the blazing sun and sky blue earth in the background of this stage may be representing this dichotomy of gameplay styles.
