The Minnesota Power Rankings is a system derived from KishPrime 's Midwest Power Ranking system. It was put into effect in the Minnesota smash community by James Sparrow , with the goal of ranking the top players of the state in order to create fair seedings at tournaments. These rankings were continued by Down B Collaborations , run by Jaaahsh and Wisely . The skill of the players is determined by the opinions of a core panel, consisting of PR players from the previous list, as well as TOs Joey Donuts and ABAP , who each rank players 1-10 according to their results from that season. Each place is worth one point more than the next, meaning 1 is worth 10, and 10 is worth 1.
