Phazon Laser (フェイゾンレーザー, Phazon Laser) is Dark Samus's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Overview

Dark Samus fires a wide laser ahead of her for several seconds. The beam keeps opponents trapped and hits them multiple times, building up damage before a final launching blow as the move ends, and can be angled up or down while firing. The move is functionally identical to Samus's Zero Laser, though it lacks the thruster boosters that deal additional damage.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Move List DarkSamusHeadSSBU.png Dark Samus unleashes a massive, long range beam. You can angle the beam up and down while firing. Fighters are drawn to the center, and the attack repeatedly hits any foes caught in its blast.

Origin

Dark Samus attacking in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.

The beam bears a strong resemblance to one of Dark Samus's attacks in the final boss fight of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, where she discharges excess amounts of Phazon energy to maintain stability.
