Luigi (ルイージ, Ruīji) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. He was announced during the Nintendo Direct in August as part of Nintendo's "Year of Luigi". It is unknown if he will be unlockable as with previous installments. His official artwork is based on his side taunt. No changes to Luigi's moveset from Super Smash Bros. Brawl have currently been seen.
