Luigi is Using Green Missile in the pose with Kirby and Mario.[edit]

Luigi is using the beginning of Green Missile where he throws his hands up before charging. So does this mean Green Missile is confirmed? GamerGuy09 (talk) 00:45, 12 August 2013 (EDT)

That could also be the ending of his back throw after he throws someone, or it could be a new taunt. It's too ambiguous to claim it as Green Missile. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 03:27, 12 August 2013 (EDT)

Green Missile Change[edit]

I don't think it constitutes a nerf. Being able to cancel the move makes it safer to use. I'd label it a change, or even a buff. FirstaLasto 16:39, 21 July 2014 (EDT)

After witnessing what exactly changed with Luigi's green missle, I think its cancelling should be labelled as a nerf. When it cancels, it also resets the charge.
Put a : before your reply, also sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). It's considered a change sing it both helps and harms Luigi (i.e. What you said and the cancel is useful if you accidentally use it facing a cliff) Laikue (talk|contribs) 21:20, 5 October 2014 (EDT)

Should we clasify Luigi as Starter?[edit]

Based on the leaks, the SSB3DS Japanese demo, and now, the final game, it appears that Luigi isn't an unlockable character this time around. So, uh, do we change his status as "Starter"? It's up to you guys, thanks. =P Flight (talk) 19:12, 11 September 2014 (EDT)

You know what, I think we should. We have enough evidence to prove he is a starter in Smash 4. Rtzxy Signature SmashBall.jpeg Smashing! 19:15, 11 September 2014 (EDT)

Luigi's sex kick nerfed knockback when at 100% (compared to brawl).[edit]

Luigi used to be able to send enemies flying when they were at 110%* for most characters. Now it seems to require 167%*. It deals 2% less damage when done at the right time (Brawl's 14% vs 4's 12%). It still does 6% when done late.

Minor sorting issue in the buffs/debuffs[edit]

The stuff relating to Luigi Cyclone is posted as a sub-category of his grabs.

The so-called "names" of Luigi's regular attacks[edit]

Besides all of Luigi's Specials and Final Smash, I've noticed that Luigi's regular A attacks have some sort of name to them. But are these names official by Nintendo? Could someone please verify this fact or at least prove that it's not named by fans and is unofficially named? Falconpunch (talk) 02:08, 28 April 2015 (EDT)

Where to add this...?[edit]

I once added Dr. Mario's ability to sweetspot his Super Jump Punch on multiple opponents by moving the opposite direction in the Changes from Melee section. This can be be done with Luigi as well but the second hit will mostly likely be a sourspot (even though both of them can hit multiple opponents with just one, but in front of them therefore covering less "area" with it). Where do I add this for Luigi? Or do I not?

We're having patch changes only in "Update history"?[edit]

Okay, I like it that way better anyways. -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 12:34, 1 February 2016 (EST)

Update history is a list of all the changes he's received in patches...I'm not sure how that's confusing. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 12:49, 1 February 2016 (EST)
It can be confusing if some patch changes are in "Changes from Brawl" while others are not. This article appears to have 0% of the patch changes in the "Changes from Brawl", so it should be fine. -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 12:55, 1 February 2016 (EST)
Well, if any articles have a patch change in the "Changes from ____" section, then please do not hesitate to make it right. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 12:57, 1 February 2016 (EST)
That's how I thought we where to do it, but then people said we have to have it up-to-date. I changed other pages to include patch changes. Before I removed patch changes and had it be for the initial release. -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 13:08, 1 February 2016 (EST)
Wait what? The changes from brawl section should have only Brawl->Newest SSB4. No update patches should be on these pages at all. Serpent SKSig.png King 14:15, 1 February 2016 (EST)
How can we have be Brawl->Newest SSB4 when we don't include update patches? -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 14:35, 1 February 2016 (EST)
...Don't include outdated stuff? ---Preceding unsigned comment added by you. Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 14:36, 1 February 2016 (EST)
No, SK said don't include patch changes. -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 14:38, 1 February 2016 (EST)

(Reset indent) He's saying there shouldn't be an "update history" section. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 14:40, 1 February 2016 (EST)

Which is outdated...I am not sure why this is confusing. Serpent SKSig.png King 14:41, 1 February 2016 (EST)

Why shouldn't we have an update history section? -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 14:42, 1 February 2016 (EST)
Because we have an entire set of pages for that? Serpent SKSig.png King 14:45, 1 February 2016 (EST)
Yea, that's true. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 14:47, 1 February 2016 (EST)
Yeah, but it will be a lot harder to see the big picture of how a character was effected by updates. I don't see what's so bad about each character having their own individual update section. -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 14:48, 1 February 2016 (EST)
How is the big picture hard to see if it's in plain site? AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 14:48, 1 February 2016 (EST)
It's at like five different places when it could be seen in just one section. -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 14:50, 1 February 2016 (EST)

(Reset indent) I think that's what SK means; it should just solely be in the update list, as opposed to "like five different places". AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 14:53, 1 February 2016 (EST)

He's saying delete all update pages? That makes more sense. -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 14:55, 1 February 2016 (EST)
No, he's saying "have the current update page be the main one and delete any sections on other pages with the exact same information". AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Space WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 15:00, 1 February 2016 (EST)
You mean one big page with all updates for all fighters? -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 15:04, 1 February 2016 (EST)
Yes, exactly. See List of updates (SSB4)'s subpages. Serpent SKSig.png King 15:06, 1 February 2016 (EST)
(edit conflict) I would support it. But it should be "List of updates (SSB4)" if we are thinking long term. But then again, we would still have to update each character page. -- EthanThis is a user image for Ethan7. Duplicate of: File:DiddyKongHeadBlueSSB4-U.png(Discussion) 15:09, 1 February 2016 (EST)

Sourspot in Brawl[edit]

Are we sure there was no sourspot in Brawl though? I feel like that needs confirmation. Alex Parpotta the flying lobster! 12:51, 27 August 2017 (EDT)

There isn't. For proof, Brawl hitbox data isn't exactly easy to look for, but we have this. 034.png DracoRex, Creator of the Land 12:55, 27 August 2017 (EDT)

Super Jump Punch Wii U KO Wrong[edit]

I tested the Luigi Super Jump Punch On Smash Wii U and it did not KO At 57% it actually KO's at 60% (tested with Mario at center of FD) If someone could fix this, that would be great :D 75.91.86.216 10:50, 16 March 2018 (EDT) Same goes for Aerial Super Jump Punch (it KO on 83 for me) 75.91.86.216 10:59, 16 March 2018 (EDT)

I already knew this, but 57% is probably with the worst possible DI. If you want it fixed, can't you do it yourself? St. Reggie, the Iron Leprachaun Warrior 11:10, 16 March 2018 (EDT)
