Not that your edit was incorrect, but in the future, if you're going to remove large amounts of text, you should probably leave a clearer reason as to why. "Redundant due to special moves sections below" would have worked well in this case, so I could clearly see why -500 something in bold red was showing up in recent changes. Also, if another user reverts you, don't revert back, discuss it on the talk page of the article in question. Thanks. DoctorPain99 11:28, 14 April 2014 (EDT)

Alright, my apologies, I'll be sure to keep this in mind in the future. Laikue (talk) 12:13, 14 April 2014 (EDT)

Hey, was there any other Corocoro issues that showed any other custom moves? The Smash Brotha (talk) 10:09, 5 August 2014 (EDT)

Make a new section next time please, yes there were, but they were from Famitsu, not Corocoro. They've already been added to the pages. Laikue (talk) 17:00, 9 August 2014 (EDT)

My legend of Zelda expansion edits.[edit]

Your edit on the basis of Pokemon getting 4 in Brawl is wrong because they also got 2 cuts in Brawl which made Pokemon only get 2 more characters than the previous game thus keeping my statement valid.

MarioIsTheBest (talk) 18:42, 6 September 2014 (EDT)

True, but remember that in six days we'll know whether or not any series got 3 new reps in Smash 4. (and due to the leaks, I'd say it's safe to say Mario will have at least three more than brawl) But even still, I don't think it's really all that great of trivia, maybe instead mention that Zelda had the biggest Rep boost in the series in the trivia on Zelda (universe) page? I feel like that'd be a better place for it anyway. Laikue (talk|contribs) 20:30, 6 September 2014 (EDT)

E3 Error?[edit]

I don't want to get into an edit war (especially considering how screwed over this wiki is getting...), so I'm bringing this question over here.

What error? And when was this confirmed? Aidan the Intermediate Gamer (talk) 20:20, 12 September 2014 (EDT)

With the confirmation of Stagnant Shuriken for Greninja as a Neutral instead of an Upwards (in some stream, forget which), and Hammer Bash not being a Down Special custom in the 8/29 trailer. Plus, no Side or Standard special customs were found in the demos, only up and down specials (which is suspicious), so it's best to just leave it as is. Also, thanks for bringing this here, instead of creating an edit war. Laikue (talk|contribs) 20:23, 12 September 2014 (EDT)
That does sound suspicious...interesting. Thank you for the clarification, I just tend to get skeptical over information such as this (I'm sure you can relate).
Yes, well, an edit war this point in the game is not the wisest path to choose...I've also been in an edit war (see my talk page for the synopsis), and, as a consistent contributor to the SmashWiki, I would not be happy with the receiving end of a block. Peach's Custom Moves[edit]

I strongly disagree with your decision of removing the table containing a list of Peach's custom moves as well as their descriptions on this page : Peach (SSB4). Could you please tell me why you'd do that? I believe these informations are of vital importance rather than a simple list. I also question you to refer them as "terrible". --ZeroBlindDragon (talk) 20:00, 20 September 2014 (EDT)

No, no, no, you mis-understood what I meant, the table looked too big and out of place, I felt that the custom specials should be listed under the regular special moves, in example:
  • Neutral Special: Blah, blah, blah
    • Custom Neutral Special 1: Halb, halb, halb
    • Custom Neutral Special 2: Lahb, lahb, lahb
  • Side Special: Blah, blah, blah
    • Custom Side Special 1: Ahlb, ahlb, ahlb
    • etc. etc.
I do think the custom specials should be listed on each character's page, but not in such a distracting table. As for calling it terrible, I didn't really mean it's terrible, I'm just in a bad mood today so you can see it in my typing. Laikue (talk|contribs) 22:47, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
I see... Don't worry about it. However, I do not see the table as "distracting". I feel it was a much better way of ordering Peach's special moves. I planned to add Peach's basic special moves into the table as well. As a Web designer, the informations being into this kind of list feels far too condensed. Plus, having both a list AND small table feel a little reductant, don't you think? Why not simply have a bigger table? Futhermore, I wouldn't think it's a good idea to associate each one of Peach's custom moves under her basic special moves. Grumpy Toad, for example, is associated with her Normal B, but not with the move "Toad". Perhaps you can allow me to experiment with a table and then we can talk about it again? I want Peach's SSB4 page to be the best one on Smash wiki. x) Thank you! --ZeroBlindDragon (talk) 23:42, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
OK, here's the deal though, this is the design point we're gonna have on every page eventually, one nice big table for the full moveset. However, we do not yet have enough technical data to justify adding these yet, so I suggest we just hold off on the table for now. Or, actually, you can put the entire moveset into a table, skip the technical bullshit for now, throw a technical data needed box onto it, and boom, you've got it. But I highly suggest that you do this only if you have every move of hers. Laikue (talk|contribs) 23:56, 20 September 2014 (EDT)

Anon removing talk messages[edit]

Anons can have very dynamic IPs. That anon was likely removing his own message. Error (talk) 15:16, 6 October 2014 (EDT)

You're still not supposed to remove talk page content if another user edits it, problem is, he used a different IP so naturally I thought it was someone not following the rules correctly, I realized after the fact that this might have been the case, but it doesn't really matter, people who use multiple IPs you should probably just make an account if they plan on editing the wiki. So since the percentage on the wiki status is going up, is that good? The Master HandIt's time. Signature image for The Master Hand. 19:38, 22 November 2014 (EST)

No. The opposite, but really, it didn't mean anything, it was just a bunch of people raising it higher and higher cause they didn't fully understand how it works. Laikue (talk | contribs) 12:18, 24 November 2014 (EST)

In the event you do accept this signature request but want to use a different image, you can swap it out with A Lakitu, for anyone who wants to use it in a signature. instead. Oh, ok. The Master HandIt's time. Signature image for The Master Hand. 13:12, 12 December 2014 (EST)

Could you please give me the reasoning for this? (I am well aware of the fact that I used an external link rather than internal, but I am not good with wiki coding). 22:45, 13 January 2015 (EST)

Because it was discussed before that it's not based on Wolf, nor does it resemble him, aside from the fur. Laikue (talk | contribs) 09:50, 14 January 2015 (EST)
Um... I don't know what to do here. 16:16, 14 January 2015 (EST)

Please don't use such a massive, one-word summary. It really warps the size of recent changes and your contribs. I'm not sure if this is a rule, but please don't do it. Thanks. Littlesquirtle! I choose you!Signature image for User:Littlesquirtle. 10:47, 14 January 2015 (EST)

Two Questions[edit]

  1. I made a new signature image for myself, and I asked someone to resize it, but said person isn't online. Would you mind resizing it for me so it can fit the regulations for a signature?
  2. Is there any way that I can delete an image? If not, can you delete this for me? I plan to replace it with a better image.

That is all. AidanzapunkSig.jpgBlueStreak Speeds By 13:05, 26 January 2015 (EST)

You can mark it for speedy deletion ({{d|reason}}), but you can't delete it yourself. Only admins can do that. I'd mark it myself, but it's probably better for you to tag it as it's your image. As for resizing, sure I can give it a shot. No guarantees though. Laikue (talk | contribs) 13:14, 26 January 2015 (EST)
Per Request, for User:Aidanzapunk. How does this look? Changed it to PNG though. If it doesn't look good, don't worry about it. Just ask rtzxy when he comes online. Laikue (talk | contribs) 13:36, 26 January 2015 (EST)
I think it's fine. It might be low quality, but hey, we can't all have what we want. Thanks! ^_^ Per Request, for User:Aidanzapunk.Aidan the Aura Master 13:39, 26 January 2015 (EST)

Image Names[edit]

Is there a difference between putting "File" or not in front of an image file name? Per Request, for User:Aidanzapunk.Aidan the Aura Master 15:12, 11 February 2015 (EST)

Firstly, I get a bit weird when removing those from galleries, so sorry if I offended you at all. Basically, there is no need to put the "File:" tag before the images in a gallery, but it really doesn't make a difference, and I get, you get the jist. However, it's still required for non-gallery images, like thumbnails. Laikue (talk | contribs) 15:22, 11 February 2015 (EST)
You didn't offend me at all, I was just curious. So, basically, putting "File:" in front of a gallery image won't make a difference? I'll definitely keep that in mind. Per Request, for User:Aidanzapunk.Aidan the Aura Master 15:26, 11 February 2015 (EST)
Yup, you got it. Laikue (talk | contribs) 15:27, 11 February 2015 (EST)

Please explain. --HavocReaper48 20:13, 14 February 2015 (EST)

i forgot about Rumors, my bad --HavocReaper48 20:14, 14 February 2015 (EST)
It's not confirmed. We have no 100% solid evidence that it's real. People have faked stuff more complex in the past. If any actual full gameplay footage gets leaked, then try posting it. I'm not denying that it might be real, but there is no way to know for sure. Until it's confirmed, it's nothing more than a simple rumor. Laikue (talk | contribs) 20:17, 14 February 2015 (EST)

Dark Pit[edit]

Yes, Pittoo was inspired by Pit's black colour swap. However, that black colour swap was not intended to represent Pittoo, as Uprising did not exist at the time of Brawl's release. Meanwhile, using Mario's yellow colour scheme as an example, Wario had existed for several years at the time of SSB64, so the colour scheme is a clear homage to him. You can't say the same for Pittoo--and the fact that Wario was added to Smash first means the trivia is incorrect anyway. Also, while I'm at it I might as well point out that he's not 100% identical to the palette anyway--Pittoo has gold highlights on his outfit and a golden laurel where the Brawl palette has black only. This trivia note is inaccurate on multiple levels and that is why I have objected to it. --NinjaCoachZ (talk) 19:32, 21 February 2015 (EST)

Can we[edit]

Vandalize after the direct?

No. The point of cleaning up before the direct is that there's no trash when we have to add new information we may get about Smash 4 or amiibo. Laikue (talk | contribs) 16:56, 1 April 2015 (EDT)

Animal Crossing Amiibo[edit]

I know it's kind of fishy but what do you think about it being compatible with Smash? Nintenzilla (talk) 22:11, 26 May 2015 (EDT)

I think it being compatible with Smash is a straight-up no, they're Villagers, but they're not Villager. I can kinda see it being in Mario Kart, but I sincerely doubt it. Laikue (talk | contribs) 22:46, 26 May 2015 (EDT)

Amiibo related question[edit]

Do you know what happened to that Marth, Ike, King Dedede, and Meta Knight restock that was supposed to happen last month? I went to Best Buy and found none of them. Nintenzilla (talk) 16:28, 3 June 2015 (EDT)

You're not very familiar with the amiibo scene, are you?
OK, King Dedede has not been restocked yet anywhere, so you still have a chance to get him.
Ike was restocked at Gamestop, but no where else yet. He's also no longer at Gamestop, as they sold out.
Marth is gone from pretty much everywhere, you missed him, sorry.
Meta Knight may still be at a few Best Buys, they've been kinda popping up infrequently, so it'd be best to call all the Best Buys in your area to check.
Now, unfortunately amiibo restocks go quickly, so as soon as you hear about restocks, you have to keep an eye out for them.
If you want, I can e-mail you or something when restocks start popping up, as I'm already doing it for a few of my friends. It'd be no trouble. Laikue (talk | contribs) 19:23, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
Sure, that'd be great! Nintenzilla (talk) 20:20, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
Alright then, e-mail me at "" and I'll start sending you emails about when restocks start popping up. Laikue (talk | contribs) 20:35, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
Okay, sent you the email! Nintenzilla (talk) 11:40, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
One more thing, have you seen this image? Mario-Sunshine-in-Splatoon.jpgNintenzilla (talk) 16:59, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
Yes, I have. I do not believe it to be true, as the "leak" seems too stereotypical. But, I guess we'll see what happens. Laikue (talk | contribs) 17:07, 4 June 2015 (EDT)

Hey, long time no see![edit]

Hey, it's been a while, I decided to come back to ask if you could help me and some others with something over at the Bandana Dee thread on Smashboards. If you could come over than that would be great! Nintenzilla (talk) 14:32, 22 June 2015 (EDT)

which thread? Laikue (talk | contribs) 16:26, 23 June 2015 (EDT)

If you really meant no offense, then I apologize. I just really hate that phrase because it's used to permit whoever said it to say whatever afterwards, no matter how good or bad it is. And it rubs me the wrong way, and I naturally think otherwise when I hear that phrase. Smashedpotatoes (talk) 23:11, 22 August 2015 (EDT)

I already did. And I get your point about the phrase, it is overused, but meh, just cause it's used incorrectly doesn't mean we should all stop using it. Laikue (talk | contribs) 23:16, 22 August 2015 (EDT)
It's k bruh. And yeah. Even so, it's a good idea to keep awareness that certain words/phrases carry certain connotations. Smashedpotatoes (talk) 23:22, 22 August 2015 (EDT)
