Koffing, known in Japan as Dogars (ドガース, Dogāsu) is a fictional creature in the Pokémon media franchise. It is a Poison-type Pokémon (#109 in the National Pokédex) that evolves into Weezing. Koffing is a Pokémon that uses the gas in its body to float, and it exhales poisonous fumes. In Smash Bros., Koffing uses Poison Gas, a Poison-type move that poisons opponents.

As a Poké Ball Pokémon

Koffing is one of 13 Pokémon that can come out of a Poké Ball in this game, using Poison Gas as its attack. Koffing releases gas from the pores on its body. Any character, other than the summoner, who touches the gas will take damage, and if they are very close to Koffing, will be trapped until it disappears.

Koffing's evolved form, Weezing, replaces it as a Poké Ball summon in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

In Super Smash Bros. 4

Koffing appears as an enemy in Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, behaving similar to its old role as a Poké Ball assist.
