A loyal remix to the main theme of the nwiki game The Legend of Zelda, which has become a recurring theme in the Zelda franchise, being the base for music pieces such as Credits 2 (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time), Tal Tal Heights and Termina Field. In The Legend of Zelda, this track played when Link explored the overworld of Hyrule. It is perhaps because of this track's presence that the music of Great Bay did not return for Brawl, as that track was also a relatively similar remix of The Legend of Zelda Main Theme.

As the title would imply, this arrangement is a remix of several music pieces in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This track starts as a remix of Zelda's Lullaby, then transitions into Sun's Song, a small extract of Minuet of Forest and Bolero of Fire, all remixed on an ocarina to be reminiscent of how Link would play these songs on the Ocarina of Time.

A very small part is taken from the Boss introduction theme, remixed on a piano, before reverting back to the ocarina to remix the Windmill Hut, which is the basis for the Song of Storms, and Lon Lon Ranch, which is the basis for Epona's Song. These sections are classed as remixes of Windmill Hut and Lon Lon Ranch respectively, because Link never played the full versions of these songs within the Song of Storms and Epona's Song.
After this, the arrangement switches to a full orchestra in order to remix the Lon Lon Ranch theme (which is the basis for Epona's Song), the Temple of Time theme, and Saria's Song. The Saria's Song remix could be considered a remix of The Lost Woods, as under normal circumstances, Link would not play the full song on his ocarina, but if he plays the piece to Darunia, Saria's Song will be extended. After Saria's Song ends, the song will loop, reverting back to ocarina-based remixes.

This is an orchestration of the title theme of the NES game The Legend of Zelda. Here, the track uses a heavy choir for the opening, and proceeds onwards with a combination of orchestra and choir. When the track reaches the segment that represents the Dungeon Theme from the same game, the score switches over to a single violin, backed up by a powerful organ, before looping.

This track is credited by Brawl as a direct port from zeldawiki, but is actually an original medley. The soundbytes within the medley are direct ports, however. This track starts off as the sound that plays when Link enters Hyrule Field at any point other than the day, before transitioning into the daytime horseback theme. Parts of the 'on-foot' theme of the Hyrule Field theme are mixed in as well.
This track is credited as a direct port from zeldawiki, but is actually adapted from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Official Soundtrack, making it an original track for Brawl. The soundbytes within the medley are direct ports, however, with the exception of a vocal chorus which was present in the soundtrack but not used in-game. This track starts off as the sound that plays when Link enters Hyrule Field at any point other than the day, before transitioning into the daytime horseback theme. Parts of the 'on-foot' theme of the Hyrule Field theme are mixed in as well. Unlike the other two Zelda field themes in Brawl, this one does not play the morning sunrise tune. Instead, there is a short jingle at the start, which is what played in the original game as Link entered Hyrule Field at any other time during the day.

The daytime horseback theme in Hyrule Field lifted directly from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, with small parts of the daytime "on foot" theme of Hyrule Field mixed in along with a few minor additions such as bell noises. A short jingle plays at the start, which is what played in the original game as Link entered Hyrule Field any other time during the day.

This track is mainly a remix of the music piece that played in the overworlds of Koholint Island, Holdrum, and Labrynna (from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons, and Oracle of Ages respectively) as well as featuring a portion of the Tal Tal Mountain range from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. This arrangement begins with The Sun's Song, a piece that Link could learn to play on the Ocarina, which would make the sun rise or fall. It also played whenever daylight began in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and every in-game 24 hours in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. The track then transitions into Termina Field, the track that played when Link entered the identically named Termina Field, which in itself is based on the Main Theme of The Legend of Zelda. Both parts of this arrangement are directly ported from their original game.

Origin[edit]

A loyal remix of the main theme of the NES game The Legend of Zelda. It has become a recurring theme in the Zelda franchise, being the basis for music tracks such as Tal Tal Heights and Termina Field. In The Legend of Zelda, this track played when Link explored the overworld of Hyrule.

Ocarina of Time Medley
Track title Ocarina of Time Medley
Universe The Legend of Zelda
Debut game The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Arrangement debut Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Stage of usage Bridge of Eldin
Availability Default
Link [2]

Origin[edit]

As the title would imply, this arrangement is a remix of several music pieces in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This track starts as a remix of Zelda's Lullaby, then transitions into Sun's Song, a small extract of Minuet of Forest and Bolero of Fire, all remixed on an ocarina to be reminiscent of how Link would play these songs on the Ocarina of Time. A very small part is taken from the Boss introduction theme, remixed on a piano, before reverting back to the ocarina to remix the Windmill Hut, which is the basis for the Song of Storms.

Origin[edit]

This is an orchestration of the title theme of the NES game The Legend of Zelda. Here, the track uses a heavy choir for the opening, and proceeds onwards with a combination of orchestra and choir. When the track reaches the segment that represents the Dungeon Theme from the same game, the score switches over to viola, backed up by a powerful organ, before looping.

Universe The Legend of Zelda
Debut game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Stage of usage Bridge of Eldin
Availability Default
Link [7]

Origin[edit]

This track is credited as a direct port from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, but is actually adapted from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Official Soundtrack, making it an original track for Brawl.
