Trivia

  • In PAL versions of Brawl, this track is labelled as Kong Jungle (Melee). The reasons for this are unknown, though it may be a mistake.
  • While the lyrics to this track are otherwise the same as its original version, this re-performance of the DK Rap alters the line "But this Kong's one hell of a guy" into "But this Kong's one heck of a guy", to avoid potential offense.
    • Likewise, when on Chunky Kong's part of the song, the line "Can make a Kremling cry out for mommy!" has the "mommy" bit abruptly cut off in this rendition of the song. The reason for this is unknown.

This track is an orchestrated and atmospheric remix of the popular Gourmet Race track from the Kirby games, starting with Kirby Super Star. The Gourmet Race music track would play in Kirby Super Star when Kirby challenged King Dedede to a Gourmet Race, where the two would race to the finish line while trying to eat as many pieces of food as possible. The piece is titled as the "Fountain of Dreams", since a similar-sounding piece would be played a year later, during the King Dedede battle in front of the Fountain of Dreams in Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, a GBA remake of the NES game Kirby's Adventure (the piece is exclusive to the GBA verison; the NES version just uses the normal boss theme).
