Trivia[edit]
- With a 3rd place finish, this tournament marked aMSa's best placement at a Melee major at the time.
- This also marks the first time he has defeated Leffen, having lost all four of their previous sets.
- With a 13th place finish, this tournament marks Mango's worst placement at a Melee major since Mainstage.
- This marks the first Ultimate North American major won by a European.
- This also marks the first ever win of a Wario main at a North American major/supermajor in 2 years since Tweek's victory at Glitch 8 - MissingNo.
- Paying homage to the Pound 2019 crab incident, Hungrybox threw a crab plushie back into the crowd while onstage during Top 8.
- The Ultimate singles event at Pound 2022, Smash Factor 8, and Smash Factor 9, and King Of Fields 95 3 have the most diverse top 8 at a major in terms of countries represented at 6: at Pound 2022, the countries being represented are France, Mexico, USA, Canada, Dominican Republic, and Japan.
