While Xerneas is on the stage, everyone's launch power will increase. This will make opponents with even a small amount of damage easier to launch. The player who summoned Xerneas will get the biggest power boost.

Xerneas (ゼルネアス, Xerneas) is a fictional creature from the Pokémon series.

Xerneas is a Fairy-type Legendary Pokémon that serves as the version mascot of Pokémon X. Legend says that it possesses the power to bestow eternal life. In the National Pokédex, it is registered as #716.

Geomancy is Xerneas' signature move, which is a Fairy-type move that only Xerneas can learn naturally: after one turn spent charging, it raises the user's Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed by two levels each.

Xerneas appears as a Poké Ball and Master Ball summon in Super Smash Bros. 4. When summoned, it uses its signature move, Geomancy; this causes all players' attacks to have increased knockback, though the summoner is affected by this boost more than the other players.
