List of idle poses (SSBU)

The following is a list of idle poses in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Note that some characters, such as Luigi, Pit, Wolf, and Marth, will revert to their previous idle pose from Brawl or Smash 4 when holding a small item, such as a Capsule. Additionally, some clone-type characters, such as Daisy and Lucas, will revert to the idle stance of the character they are based on when holding a small item.

Banjo & Kazooie

• Kazooie pops out of Banjo's backpack, looks around, then retreats back inside.
• Kazooie pecks Banjo on the head twice. A nod to their idle animation from Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie.

Bayonetta

• Performs a beckoning gesture with her gun.
• Holds her left gun in front of her, and her right gun upwards beside her head. This idle pose only occurs once she ends any grounded attack, and she returns to her standard idle animation after a few seconds. Based off of her stance in combat in Bayonetta.
