Trivia
- With a total of 6 appearances, Bowser and Ganondorf are tied for having the most appearances as a selectable fighter in fighter-specific Event Tourneys.
- Discounting Heroes Vs. Villains, Bringing Back the '80s has the most fighter debuts, with 9.
- In contrast, Hefty Heavyweights, Brawl Veterans Represent, and Shocking Power are all tied for the least fighter debuts; Incineroar is the only fighter to make its debut in the first, Zero Suit Samus was the only one in the second, and Robin was the only one in the third.
- Spiky Vs. Round? The Ultimate Battle is the first character-specific Event Tourney to not have any character debuts.
- Hero has the longest duration between his debut in an Event Tourney and his next appearance in another, having debuted in Heroes Vs. Villains and not making another appearance until Stop Hitting Yourself!, 11 Tourneys later.
- However, Bowser Jr. and Rosalina have a longer duration than him in terms of characters appearing in another Event Tourney in general. The former appeared in Hefty Heavyweights and would not make another appearance until The Year is 200X, 12 Tourneys later. The latter appeared in The Next Big Super Star and would not make another appearance until The Year is 200X, 13 Tourneys later, thus having the overall longest duration.
- Young Link has appeared in 3 Event Tourneys in a row (having appeared in A Tribute to Melee, Some Training, Professor?, and Hailing From the '90s), the most out of any fighter.
- A Tribute to Melee and Spiky Vs. Round? The Ultimate Battle are tied for the most fighters that have previously appeared in the Event Tourney right before it, with 5 each (Peach, Bowser, Ice Climbers, Zelda, and Mr. Game & Watch for the former; Kirby, Jigglypuff, Meta Knight, Sonic, and Cloud for the latter).
- Coincidently, both of the Tourneys before these are decade-based (Bringing Back the '80s and Hailing from the '90s).
- Original Class of '64 is the only Event Tourney to have more new fighters than returning fighters (this does not count Heroes Vs. Villains and The Ultimate Partnership, which only consist of new fighters).
- Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield is the only Event Tourney to have an equal number of returning fighters and new fighters (if Pokémon Trainer is treated as a single fighter).
