The Grenade Launcher is Solid Snake's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When his Final Smash activates, he leaps off the stage and grabs onto a rope ladder of a helicopter. The camera becomes an over-the-shoulder view and the player can aim with a crosshair to make Snake shoot grenades at his opponents. Snake has 12 grenades with 6 rounds for each clip. The Final Smash ends when Snake runs out of time or uses all of his grenades. If no rounds are fired within a few seconds, the Grenade Launcher begins to fire independently wherever the crosshairs are present. Each grenade does approxiamately 18% damage. Note this move can easily be avoided by frequently moving around the stage, requiring a bit of planning to use it effectively. When used, Snake will say, "It's showtime!".

- The model of Snake's grenade launcher seems to be based off of the Milkor MGL.
- In a parody of Brawl, Snake gets a Smashball and contacts Colonal.Roy then asks if Snake wants to leave before "The Nuke hits" But Snake says no to "Nuking" the stage.
- Onthe note of the parody, when he uses the Grenade Launcer, he knocks out Sheik and Jigglypuff, then a part of the game Duck Hunt, then he misses a duck, and the infamous Dog laugh appears, with Snake blasting the dog and saying: "I hate that dog...".
