Beware of Spikes was a Spirit Board event focused on spirits that feature spikes or thorns. It ran from 6 a.m. on July 5, 2019 to 6 a.m. on July 8, 2019 (UTC). During the event, defeating spirits on the Spirit Board which were part of the event awarded more snacks than usual.

- Spirits with sharp spikes or thorns are making their way to the Spirit Board! Defeat them in battle to earn extra snacks.
- Legend-class spirits Baby Bowser, Super Sonic, and Dry Bowser will also appear at set times. Check them out![1]
