Boom Stompers (ドスドス, Dosudosu) are enemies from Kid Icarus: Uprising that resemble a large seed made of rock. They appear in Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as an enemy. They walk around on two stubby legs and pounds the ground with their body to crush the player.

Origin

Boom Stompers in Kid Icarus: Uprising are Forces of Nature enemies that are fairly resilient to damage, slow moving, and, as in Super Smash Bros. 4, attack by slamming their body on the ground, either directly hitting the player or by affecting them with a shockwave. Both send the player flying afterwards, rendering them immobile.
