Fire Chomps are enemies from the Mario franchise.
In Super Smash Bros. 4
Fire Chomps show up in Smash Run, a 3DS exclusive mode. In it, they are enemies that can be defeated to obtain power-ups.

They are enemies that shot fire balls at Mario. If they ran out of fireballs to shot then they die out.
