This theme is a remix and medley of certain themes from ''Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem'', starting with the Advance theme when the player can freely move their units across the map, then rock-themed arrangements of Attack and Defense themes, respectively when players are in the midst of battling and during the midst of the enemy's turn to move its units, before segueing into a dramatic remix of the main Fire Emblem theme for its finale.

This particular theme is an arrangement of several different themes played across different games within the series whenever the player recruits new characters to fight for their side; it begins with an orchestrated remix of "Together We Ride," originating from the first game in the series, ''Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light'', interlaced with elements of the opening of "Comrades," the recruitment theme used in ''The Sacred Stones'', before transitioning to the remainder of the melody; lastly, the final themes used in the medley is "Join Us" from ''Genealogy of the Holy War'', ''Thracia 776'', and ''The Binding Blade'' before shifting back to "Together We Ride."
A medley of four {{s|fireemblemwiki|recruitment}} themes from various games in the series. All of these themes originally accompanied cutscenes in which the player [[fireemblemwiki:Recruitment|recruits]] new characters to fight for their side. Included are:

* The theme which debuted in ''{{s|fireemblemwiki|Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light}}'', later making appearances in all of that game's direct sequels and remakes, as well as ''{{s|fireemblemwiki|Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade}}'' and ''{{s|fireemblemwiki|Fire Emblem Heroes}}''. This theme is variously known as "Story 5 - Meeting", "Come, Join Us" and, most famously, "Together, We Ride!"
* The second loop of "Story 5 - Meeting" transitions into "Comrades," the recruitment theme from ''{{s|fireemblemwiki|Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones}}''.
* The recruitment theme used in ''{{s|fireemblemwiki|Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War}}'' (under the title "Recruitment") and ''{{s|fireemblemwiki|Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade}}'' (in which it is known as "Join Us!")
* Finally, a snippet of "In the Chapter ~ Joining a Group", the recruitment theme from ''{{s|fireemblemwiki|Fire Emblem: Thracia 776}}'', plays before the song loops.

Lyrics[edit]

Latin English[1]

Fire Emblem iter sine fine
Vadite eris sociis

Fire Emblem, companions walk
The endless path together.

Umbrae labantem invidiae
Ac sanguinans diritas
Villae hastam velavit ignibus ab aditus est

In the wavering shadow of spite,
Our home is faced by the oncoming spear,
Engulfed in flames.

Ego illam diem commemorabam
Nunc simul cum meis socii oriar

I keep that unforgettable day in my heart
And now rise up together with my companions.

Fire Emblem, nostrum vinculum numquam frangamur

Fire Emblem, our bond shall be never broken.

Ut relicum manendi consistimus
Insuper hastilium qui diem salvae

We hold fast to protect tomorrow
And the one who awaits our return.

Fire Emblem, ad insigne summato coheres lux

Fire Emblem, light gathers on the flag we unfurl.

Fire Emblem, multa stella
Suspicis tenens tuum ferro

Fire Emblem, we gaze upon the multitude of stars,
Gripping our blades.

Umbra terra haud quadam es aura adducere
Harenes adsurgus dium astra terram

If we do not bring light to the darkness in these lands,
The shooting stars will soar over a wasteland.

Fire Emblem, de illustra
Qui vallum oriens fulgebunt?

Fire Emblem, on whom does the morning sun shine
As she climbs over the edge of battle?

Lyrics[edit]

English

You are the ocean's gray waves, destined to seek
Life beyond the shore just out of reach
Yet the waters ever change, flowing like time
The path is yours to climb

In the white light, a hand reaches through
A double-edged blade cuts your heart in two
Waking dreams fade away
Embrace the brand-new day

Sing with me a song of birthrights and love
The light scatters to the sky above
Dawn breaks through the gloom, white as a bone
Lost in thoughts all alone

Life is not just filled with happiness, nor sorrow
Even the thorn in your heart, in time, it may become a rose

Sing with me a song of silence and blood
The rain falls, but can't wash away the mud
Within my ancient heart dwells madness and pride
Can no one hear my cry?

You are the ocean's gray waves, destined to seek
Life beyond the shore just out of reach
Yet the waters ever change, flowing like time
The path is yours to climb
You are the ocean's gray waves
