Get On My Level: Forever was a Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate supermajor held in Toronto, Ontario from July 4th-6th, 2025.
Tournament summary[edit]
Super Smash Bros. Melee[edit]
This tournament marked the return of Ginger to competition, following his retirement announcement the year prior.
Numerous top players dropped out of the event, the most notable drops being Mvlvchi (#61 seed), Vegas Matt (#60 seed), Balloon Day (#49 seed), Zuppy (#24 seed), and , most notably, Jmook (#11 seed). Despite this, as the top 10 count (using the SSBMRank Summer 2025) likely remained unchanged, the event remained a supermajor with 775 total entrants.
Day 2 kicked off with a large array of upsets, starting with #54 seed Bekvin losing his Round 1 to #204 seed Fugu and drowning in pools at 193rd. #33 seed Solobattle was upset by #96 seed Fitzy before being eliminated for 97th by #89 seed Eve in Losers, who themself was upset in Winners by Canada's best Ness player, #168 seed JoeyBats, while #23 seed Maelstrom was sent to losers by #42 seed E-tie. In a similar vain to the previous year, Samus player Morsecode762 made an upset over a top 8 seed, defeating #8 seed Nicki in Winners; Nicki was then immediately knocked out by Kevbot for 33rd, becoming the only top 8 seed to be eliminated prior to top 32. Matching this placement was Nicki's fellow German competitor, Falco player irfan, who was able to attend the tournament thanks to a sponsored trip from Nouns. He knocked out #44 seed Foxy Grandpa at before losing to Ossify.
Three of the most notable upsets from this day, however, came from Luigi players Ampp and RapMonster. To qualify for top 128 on the Winners side, Ampp defeated Jah Ridin' in the Luigi ditto before losing to Ben and MOJOE for 65th, while RapMonster upset both Preeminent and Krudo, the latter being the 5th seed, to qualify for day 3 on Winner's side, becoming the first Luigi player to achieve this since Abate at The Big House 5. RapMonster ultimately finished 9th, defeating Mot$ and SluG along the way, marking the best major performance from a Luigi player in the post-pandemic metagame. Despite losing the ditto, Jah Ridin' went on a respectable run afterwards, defeating players such as Louis and TheRealThing before losing to Ginger for 33rd.
In top 32, Krudo was eliminated by Soonsay, becoming the second top 8 seed to fall. Two other top 8 seeds also fell into Losers during this phase, with #3 seed moky losing to #14 seed Wizzrobe and #4 seed Hungrybox losing to #12 seed SDJ, the first time Hungrybox lost the Jigglypuff ditto since he lost to Mang0 at Pound 4 over 15 years prior. Both moky and Hungrybox fought before top 8, with Hungrybox coming out victorious.
SDJ continued their incredible run by then defeating #1 seed Cody Schwab, before eventually losing to #2 seed Zain in Winner's Final. On the other hand, Hungrybox went on a notable Losers run in top 8, knocking out aMSa, Joshman, and Wizzrobe, before winning the runback against SDJ to face Zain in Grand Finals; SDJ's 3rd-place finish made them the first non-God Jigglypuff player to place in the top 3 at a major since KillaOR placed 3rd at MLG Los Angeles 2005. Zain ultimately came out on top to win his second major event of the 2025 season. This victory also led Zain to tie Armada in the number of total major victories.
