Get On My Level 2026 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate major held in Mississauga, Ontario from July 31st-August 2nd, 2026.

Tournament summary

Super Smash Bros. Melee

This was the first time a Peach player won a major since Armada won Super Smash Con 2018 8 years prior. lloD's run included his first-ever victory over Hungrybox, defeating him in a reverse 3-0 to enter Top 8, and he also picked up a win on moky on his way to Grand Finals. He eventually faced RapMonster again in Grand Finals, who had defeated Zain in Losers Finals, making this event the first Melee major Grand Finals to feature only Mario characters. Additionally, this became the first major since Don't Park on the Grass 2024 to feature no previous major winners in Grand Finals. Though RapMonster won the first set of Grand Finals 3-1, with lloD claiming to be the first time he had lost to a Luigi player since Vist 14 years prior, lloD won the final set in a game 5, last stock scenario.

Outside of top 8, this event was also known for Kola's cinderella run. As the 72nd seed starting in the Losers side of Top 64, he surprised audiences by defeating ranked players Maher, Drephen, Zuppy, and SluG along the way. He ultimately finished 9th after losing to Zain 0-3, outplacing his Ultimate performance by several placements. Zain himself was knocked into Losers by Soonsay, who won their set 3-0, marking the first time a Fox player other than Cody Schwab defeated him. Alongside Kola, Project+ player and Dr. Mario player Sebas had a breakout performance, defeating Dawson and Magi to place 13th. Finally, this event had a sizeable amount of perceived mid-tiered characters within the Top 32, with 9 out of the 32 character mains in said tier. In addition to RapMonster and Sebas, fellow plumber player Phorox placed 25th with a victory over Mot$.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Contrasting his performance in Melee, Kola was sent into Losers in pools by Lars_Rex 2-3, the largest upset of the event with an upset factor of 8, and was eventually eliminated by Bubbs in a reverse-3-0 for 25th. Outside of that, however, there were relatively few notable upsets, with the biggest ones being Treyara's 3-1 victory over Riddles, Jakal's 3-2 victory over Sparg0, and Zozef's 3-2 victory over Syrup. Ultimately, outside of those that disqualified, every top 8 seed made top 8 with the exception of Tweek, who lost the Diddy Kong ditto to Nyonoknb 2-3 before being eliminated by Syrup 0-3 for 17th. Nyonoknb’s run also marked his first international top 8.

In Top 8, Lima scored his first-ever win over MkLeo while Hurt defeated Light for the second time in his career. Hurt then defeated Lima 3-2 to make Grand Finals, where he faced MkLeo. Continuing with his resurgence performance since Kagaribi 15 and marking the first time since 2022 where MkLeo made consecutive appearances in Grand Finals at majors (his last being his 2nd at Double Down 2022 and 1st at Smash Factor 9), MkLeo reset the bracket 3-2, including a 3-stock in the fourth game. However, Hurt won the final set in a decisive 3-0.
