(Mario and Punch-Out!! are only very superficially related. First off, Punch-Out!! was not intended to be a Mario spin-off or what-have-you. Second, all the cameos mentioned in this summary (even DK's appearance in Punch-Out!! Wii) are more like neat little bonuses than anything. If we're gonna connect these two based on those, we might as well connect Mario with Banjo-Kazooie and Rhythm Heaven (due to their slight connections with DK and Wario, respectively)) Tag: Undo |
