Maesuma TOP 12 was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate supermajor tournament held in Osaka, Japan, on April 30th, 2023, as the first of three Ultimate supermajor events of Golden Week. A Japan vs. World crew battle was held the night before on April 29th.

The tournament featured several notable upsets over international participants, most notably Hamachi and Rumiru over Fatality (upset factors 5 and 6, respectively), who finished 257th; Toriguri and Jagabata- over MuteAce (upset factors 6 and 7, respectively), who finished 65th; and Doramigi and Sigma over Dabuz (upset factors 5 and 3, respectively), who finished 33rd. Conversely, after losing to Gackt, Riddles won 5 sets in a row to ultimately place 4th, tying Cosmos's record as the highest-placing international player at a major up to that point.
