From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
Tarakotori is a Smasher from the Kanto region of Japan known for being arguably the greatest Little Mac player of all time across both Super Smash Bros. 4 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, managing to maintain a level of success across multiple years despite his character's nerfs and unpopularity in the metagame.
In Smash 4, he was known for his strong regional results and player victories, especially in the final year of the game's competitive lifespan. Throughout 2018, he'd achieve 13th at Umebura Tokaigi Qualifier 2 plus wins over Shogun and Kuro among other accomplishments. This would culminate with his run to 9th at Umebura Smash 4 Final, where he defeated Kameme and Zackray among others. This would be tied for the highest placement for a Smash 4 Little Mac player at a major with Alphicans at Get On My Level 2016.
Tarakotori continued to play Little Mac in Ultimate, where he gained initial notoriety for his strong results at majors and regionals – namely 7th at Karisuma SP 4 where he defeated Abadango and Shogun, 13th at Sumabato SP 8 where he defeated Eim, and most remarkably 13th at Umebura SP 4 where he defeated Lunamado and Rotsuku, a result which remained the joint-highest placement for an Ultimate Little Mac player at a major until K.O. Kou finished 9th at IMPACT MAJOR 2 over six years later. These results led him to be ranked 51st on the Japan Player Rankings and 1st on the Mac Nation Power Rankings for 2019-2020, establishing himself as the undisputed best Little Mac player in the early metagame. Despite then picking up Pyra and Mythra as secondaries, Tarakotori has continued to produce some of the best performances from players of his character since the pandemic, particularly his victories at the Battle of BC 6 pre-local SFU SMASH: BOBC 6 Pre-Local, where he defeated Gorioka, Lancelot, and double-eliminated BassMage, as well as Weekly Smash Party #151, where he defeated KEN and Shuton. Having also maintained high placements at majors and regionals, coupled with holding more of the best set wins by Little Mac players over ranked opponents like Neo, Akakikusu, Umeki, Big D, and Rimu, Tarakotori is still considered one of the best Little Mac players in the world alongside Peanut, currently ranking 4th on the Mac Nation Power Rankings.
