K.O. Kou is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Little Mac main from Japan who is considered one of the best Little Mac players in the world in the post-pandemic metagame. Since he began competing at offline tournaments in 2023, he has achieved multiple strong regional results, including 7th at Ikesuma 2 where he defeated Ezs, another 7th at Shibuya BeeSmash BIG 3 where he defeated M0tsunabE, and 13th at Seibugeki 19 where he defeated akasa. Although he has other notable results, K.O. Kou is best known for finishing 9th at IMPACT MAJOR 2, where he also defeated Lax and Lunamado. This made him the highest placing Little Mac player at a major tournament (and the first to place single-digits at one) in Ultimate's history. Having taken sets off more players such as Yaura, Gorioka, Akakikusu, and Kurofune, K.O. Kou was ranked 136th on UltRank 2025 Japan and 3rd on the Mac Nation Power Rankings, however Mac Nation have also ranked him as high as 2nd for the 2025 calendar year.
