Yaminabe (やみなべ) is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Little Mac main from Kanto, Japan who was considered one of the best Japanese Little Mac players in the early metagame, most notably for finishing 25th at Umebura SP 6, one of Little Mac's best results at a major before the pandemic. Since then, he has also placed admirably at many Kagaribi tournaments and has defeated players such as Brood, huto, takera, Noi, LiiMac, Natsu, and Te-sHi. Although he was last ranked as an honourable mention by Mac Nation's 2023 ranking, he has also ranked as high as 4th for 2019-2020 and 3rd for 2021.
In SSB4, Yaminabe also played Little Mac and he was considered one of the best Little Mac mains in Japan alongside bt.yamato and Hero. He achieved consistently high placements at Sumabato and Umebura series tournaments whilst taking sets off players like FILIP, Somé, and kept. This led him to be ranked 111th on the JAPAN Power Rankings.
