Ashley's Song
Track title Ashley's Song
Universe Wario
Debut game WarioWare: Touched!
Arrangement debut Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Stage of usage WarioWare, Inc.
Availability Default

Origin[edit]

In WarioWare: Touched!, one set of microgames revolved around Ashley. When playing through her set of microgames in the NTSC and PAL versions of the game, this song would play in the background. In addition, while Touched! features a slow, marching-band style to the song, Brawl's adaptation of the song is considerably faster in pace, with its instrumentation more closely resembling swing jazz.

Lyrics
Who's the girl next door living in the haunted mansion?

You'd better learn my name 'cause it's Ashley

She knows the darkest spells and she brews the meanest potions

You might be the ingredient I seek

Don't let yourself be fooled by her innocent demeanor

You'd better be afraid of the great Ashley

She doesn't play with dolls and she never combs her hair

Who has time for girly things like that?

Eye of newt, I cast a hex on you

Grandma's wig, this'll make you big

Kitten spit, soon your pants won't fit

Pantalones giganticus!

Oh no, not again...

She can rule the world and still finish all her homework

Everyone knows I'm the greatest

Ashley

You'd better watch your step or she'll cast a spell on you

I turned my teacher into a spoon

I'm a slave to my spells

And yes it's true well, I don't have as many friends as you

But I think you're nice and maybe we can be friends

And if you say no, you're toast

Who's the girl next door living in the haunted mansion

You better learn my name 'cause it's Ashley

Just remember this, when you see her on the street

I'm the coolest girl you'll ever meet (3x)

Origin[edit]

In WarioWare: Touched!, one set of microgames revolves around Mike. When a player watches the introduction of his set of microgames in an NTSC or PAL (English) version of the game, this song plays, lyrics included. In Brawl, this song is covered with a '50s rock-and-roll feel to it. To match this sound, the lyric "Rock the Mike" is replaced with "Bop Doo-Wop". An additional verse was added to the Brawl remix.

Lyrics
Go! Go! Go, go Mike! (x2)

My name is Mike, c'mon, let's robo-karaoke

Get up on the stage and sing a little ditty for me

Off key? No, not me

I'm a karaoke machine

I got two mics on my head and you sing into me

Yeah, don't you wanna, don't you wanna, don't you wanna karaoke?

Off key? No, not me

I'm a karaoke machine

My name is Mike, and tonight, I'm your robo-MC

Just pick a song from the list, and I'll cue the CD

Yeah, Mike's on the mics, and you know that he's doin' the deed

(Ow!)

'Cause nothin' gets a party goin' higher than a little karaoke-oke!

(My name is Mike, c'mon, let's robo-karaoke

Get up on the stage and sing a little ditty for me)

Mikey, Mikey

Let's robo-karaoke!

(I got two mics on my head and you sing into me

Don't you wanna, yeah, don't you wanna karaoke?)

Mikey, Mikey

Let's robo-karaoke!

My name is Mike, and tonight, I'm your robo-MC

Just pick a song from the list, and I'll cue the CD, oh yeah!

Oh, Mike's on the mics, and you know that he's doin' the deed

'Cause nothin' gets a party jumpin' higher than a little karaoke-oke!

(Sing it!)

My name is Mike, and tonight, I'm your robo-MC

(Yeah, that's me!)

Just pick a song from the list, and I'll cue the CD!

(Oh, I'll get it!)

Yeah, Mike's on the mics, and you know that he's doin' the deed

(Ow!)

'Cause nothin' gets a party jumpin' higher than a little karaoke-oke!

(Go! Go! Go, go Mike!)

The Brawl cover of this song takes the same approach to the song as the original did.

Lyrics
This here is Mona Pizza

Makers of the world's best treats-a

Fresh sauce and cheese galore

Brought straight to your front door

(Go! Go! Go! Go!)

This here is Mona Pizza

Makers of all tasty treats-a

Our pies' crispy, crunchy crust

Leaves others in the dust

Grab a hot slice and take a big bite

It's so good that you'll start a fight

(One! Two! Three! Go!)

For more Mona Pizza

Mona Pizza (x3)

(We represent Pizza Dinosaur

We got the most stores in the world

Our crust is tough and our sauce is thin

Mona Pizza's got nothing on us

'Cuz we've got six thousand stores plus!
