Pokémon Trainer is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. They were confirmed as playable on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The Stamina mechanic is gone, and every Pokémon can stay out indefinitely now.
Charizard can now use Flare Blitz, a move that was introduced in Super Smash Bros. 4
Squirtle appears to have a new dash animation that involves riding a water wave.
Aesthetics
Pokémon Trainer now has a female alternate costume.
