The Wi-Fi Warrior Rank v8 (WWR v8) was a power ranking that listed the best smashers for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's online competitive scene for the first half of 2024.

Methodology[edit]

With the rise of Coinbox during the ranking's hiatus, v8 became the first Ultimate Wi-Fi Warrior Rank to include weeklies, albeit limited to those that have a pot prize of $300 USD or more. In addition, the TTS was rehauled to be more similar to the LumiRank, including the introduction of D-tiers and featuring a similar player point system: players are given a point value depending on their placement on the LumiRank 2023 North America Top 200; their placements on the Wi-Fi Warrior Rank v5, v6, and v7; or high placements at large events, with the highest value being used. Finally, v8 became fully locked to North American events, however Europe-only rankings would be considered if enough European online events were gathered.
