Iridescent Glint Beetles in the Pikmin series are incapable of directly harming Pikmin - instead, they attract all nearby idle Pikmin to chase after it, potentially running into hazards or other enemies. When successfully hit by a thrown Pikmin, they release useful items such as nectar, sprays, or even treasures.  
Iridescent Glint Beetles are golden, sparkling versions of [[pikminwiki:Iridescent Flint Beetle|Iridescent Flint Beetles]] that drop items such as [[pellet]]s when hit in the same way Flint Beetles do (but in greater quantities), and are much more rare. Iridescent Glint Beetle is an enemy from Pikmin 2. It appears in Smash Run in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as an enemy.

Origin

Iridescent Glint Beetles are golden, sparkling versions of Iridescent Flint Beetles that drop items such as pellets when hit in the same way Flint Beetles do (but in greater quantities), and are much more rare.
