Zelda (ゼルダ, Zeruda) will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. 4. She was announced on December 26, 2013, the date on which The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was released in Japan. It is not currently known whether Sheik returns as her transformation. Unlike other characters, Zelda did not get any notable appearance changes, sporting the same realistic look from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess that she had in Brawl, albeit with general graphical upgrades.
