Local Wireless is the function in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in which players can play with other players via wireless connection.

Local Wireless is available for Smash, Smash Run, All-Star, and Multi-Man. Upon selecting Local Wireless the player is able to either host or join a game. Local Wireless is located in the Dashboard. Unlike Smash 3DS, the game mode can be changed from Smash to Custom Smash. Up to eight players can join by linking Nintendo Switch systems.
