This track was the main theme of Sonic Adventure, and its remake, Sonic Adventure DX: Director’s Cut, and plays while controlling Super Sonic within those games. Specifically, the track in Brawl is the shortened version that played during the battle against Perfect Chaos in Sonic Adventure, rather than the full version. This track is composed and performed by rock band Crush 40.

This track first served as the main theme of Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, and plays while controlling Super Sonic or Super Shadow. The track has become somewhat of a recurring theme in the Sonic series, appearing in other games such as SEGA Superstars Tennis. This version of the track, however, despite otherwise being a direct port, only features the first verse, chorus, and part of the bridge. The vocals are sung by rock band Crush 40.

This track served as both the main theme and Sonic's own theme in Sonic The Hedgehog, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 exclusive Sonic game released in 2006. In said game, this track featured lyrics, but these were not included within Brawl's version of the track due to copyright issues. In other words, it's the instrumental version of "His World".
