Introduction tagline

Peach is a playable character in the Super Smash Bros. mod Smash Remix. She was added to the mod in its 2.0.0 release on June 25, 2025. Her moveset is based on her Melee iteration, lacking the unique magic effects introduced in Smash 4 and with the Peach Bomber as her neutral special instead of Toad.

Peach's voice clips consist of archived audio from Mario Kart 64 and Super Paper Mario provided by Leslie Swan.

Attributes[edit]

Much like her Melee iteration, Peach has slightly below average running speed, walking speed, and fantastic aerial movement with her very high air acceleration and air speed. She has below-average weight and a low falling speed, making wavedashing (if air dodging is set to Melee) little use to her, as she has a very short wavedash.

While her ground game is subpar at best, as her only good grounded moves are dash attack and turnip tosses, her air game is among the best in the game. Just like in Melee, she has the unique ability to float, making her aerials more powerful and less laggy if float-canceled. With all of this in mind, Peach can easily overwhelm opponents with a poor air game and camp out opponents who struggle against projectiles with turnip throws.

Finally, Peach has one of, if not the best, horizontal recoveries in the game as she has an exceptional air speed and acceleration, a low falling speed, a float that allows her to stall long off stage, and an up special that is disjointed, making it extremely difficult to edge guard Peach.

Despite her dominant air game and extremely good recovery, Peach’s main weakness comes in her ground game. She has very slow tilts, though down tilt can be used as a decent combo starter. Connecting every hit of her down smash is incredibly difficult, as opponents get launched out of it most of the time. Her dash speed prevents her from chasing opponents down, and overall, she doesn’t have any good attacks other than dash attack and turnip toss.

Overall, Peach functions similarly to how she does in Melee, maintaining her dominant air game, acceptable combo game, excellent recovery, and weak ground game.

Moveset[edit]

Forward tilt Can-Can Kick
Up tilt Crown Bash
Down tilt Elegant Sweep
Dash attack Lady Push 9%/7% (clean), 7%/6% (late)
Forward Smash Peach Swing 23%/18% (clean), 16%/12% (early)
Up smash Pirouette
Down smash Double-Edged Gown
Neutral aerial Princess Twirl Twirls in the air.
Forward aerial Crown Smack Bashes her crown in front of her for huge knockback.
Back aerial Flying Hip Sticks out her rear backwards for good knockback, with the hitbox centralized around her pelvis.
Up aerial Floating High Kick A quick kick at an upwards angle.
Down aerial Stiletto Kick 3% (hits 1-4) Kicks downward four times. Good combo starter but deals low damage and produces barely any knockback.
Grab Grab
Forward throw Royal Slap 16% (first hit), 12% (second hit)
Back throw Iron Hip 13% (first hit), 10% (second hit)
Floor attack (front)

Edge attack (fast)
Edge attack (slow)
Neutral special Peach Bomber 18% (first hit), 14% (second hit) Lunges forward, hitting opponents with her rear. If Peach hits an opponent, it will produce an explosion and knock them away.
Up special Peach Parasol 5% (hit 1), 1% (hits 2-11), 3% (parasol) Jumps upward while holding her parasol, a recovery move. Her parasol allows her to descend very slowly, and it is possible to put the parasol down at any time to fast fall - it is even possible to put the parasol back up. The parasol itself does slash damage.
Down special Vegetable Varies Pulls out a vegetable, which can be used as a projectile. There is also a chance of her pulling out a Beam Sword, Mr. Saturn, or a Bob-omb from the ground.

What comes out is based on Melee's percentage rates.

Victory poses[edit]

  • Performs a twirl, then ends by clasping her hands together. Based on one of her victory animations from Mario Party 3. (CSS animation)
  • She swings her arm out and puts it behind her while saying, "Alright!"
  • Turns to her right and looks up while saying, "Yeah, Peach has got it!" while holding her hands together. This also resembles her stained glass portrait pose on the front of her castle.

Profile[edit]

Dear Mario,
I am away from the castle today. Our battles together against the evil Wart and Smithy have taught me that I too need to be a hero for the sake of the Mushroom Kingdom. Meet me on the battlefield! I won’t go easy on you, Mario! Cake must be had another day.
Yours truly,
Princess Toadstool
Peach
